EXCLUSIVE: John Aloisi insists Sydney FC’s licence to thrill will soon swell attendances at the SFS as the marquee striker promises further goal-laden excitement.

John Kosmina’s men have scored eight times in three matches and are one of three teams sitting joint top of the embryonic league table.
Aloisi knows bums on seats is vital to a club’s success and feels the squad’s approach to games can only aid the quest for new disciples.
Speaking after this morning’s boxing session at North Cronulla Surf Lifesaving Club the Socceroos striker told au.fourfourtwo.com that the club’s goal-laden start to the season was no flash in the pan.
He said: “Sydney are going to play exciting stuff this year. With the players we’ve got, that’s all we can do.
"When you have players like Alex Brosque, Steve Corica and Mark Bridge, you are going to attack other teams. They’re all good on the ball and can hurt the opposition.
“We’re going to be scoring a lot of goals and it’s going to be exciting to watch us play. Most of the games will have a lot of goals in them.”
Sydney FC’s first two home games produced disappointing attendances but Aloisi is confident that a quality product will see the word spread.
Factors such as the Olympics have been blamed for largely sluggish attendances in the first three rounds but Aloisi doesn’t believe it is a real concern.
He said: “This is Sydney’s best start in four years and people will sit up and take notice.
"People talk about the crowds but I believe membership is at an all time high, which is very encouraging. And if we can get a positive result in the next match against Newcastle then I’m sure there’ll be a big crowd for the Adelaide game.
“By then it’ll be at least a month since the Olympics ended and the finals will be almost over in the AFL and NRL.
“I’m sure we’re going to be getting big crowds come a month or two.”
While some players are probably glad of the A-League break this weekend, Aloisi is not one of them.
He said: “I would have liked to have played this week as I’m just looking forward to getting out there again.
"It was good to get my bearings again against Perth last week and you can’t wait for the next opportunity.
"It was disappointing not to score but I had a couple of chances and hopefully you take the next chance when it comes."
