Brisbane Roar coach John Aloisi says there's "something wrong" with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system after Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Central Coast.
Roar were denied a second-half goal to Adam Taggart after the VAR controversially adjudicated he was offside in the lead-up.
The decision appeared tight and having initially being waved play-on, Aloisi said there was no "clear or obvious error" and thus was confused why it was overturned.
"They're still not getting it right," Aloisi said.
"We saw last season it took them a while and they still had issues.
"This season again over the weekend there's already been some major decisions.
"When it takes so long to make a decision then you know there's something wrong.
"It has to be a clear and obvious error. For me the Taggart one isn't a clear and obvious error."
Aloisi didn't call for the removal of the VAR, rather insisted its use simply needs to improve.
"They've still got a lot of work to do to get better," he said.
"It's here to stay so let's hope they get better at it."
