STITCHED-up John Aloisi won't be handed a starting slot against former club Central Coast Mariners tomorrow as John Kosmina challenges last week's unknowns to build themselves a reputation.

The marquee man was sporting a head bandage at training this morning, the result of a clash of heads in Thursday's session.
It won't be enough to prevent him taking his place in the squad but there is a big question mark over Robbie Middleby after he ended training today early, troubled by a cyst at the back of the knee.
Alex Brosque is likely to be risked against the Mariners even though Kosmina feels the player is 'undercooked'.
Speaking after this morning's training session at the SFS, Kosmina confirmed Aloisi would have to be patient a little bit longer, confirming his spot on the bench again.
He said: "He's picked up 16 stitches in a head cut. Johnny's been in the wars this week. I think he's best served to coming off the bench as an impact and did that last week.
"I'd hate him to start in the first minutes and open it up again (the head wound).
"Robbie (Middleby)'s had a bit of a niggle and at the moment it looks like he won't start.
"Brosquey's a risk but he's had a full week of training and did a lot of running last week. He's probably still undercooked but it's calculated risk.
"We need some width and speed out wide because I think that made a difference against Melbourne. Providing Brosquey pulls up alright tomorrow then he'll start."
While delighted with last week's win at Telstra Dome, Kosmina is now looking to his players to push on.
He said: "Last week was easy because you had a whole bunch of new faces in there with virtually nothing to lose.
"This week now they've got a reputation and they've got to back it up. That's what it's all about."
Clashes between Sydney and Central Coast have traditionally rained goals with Sydney enjoying the edge in recent clashes.
Kosmina said: "As long as we score more than them I'm happy. Central Coast make good forward runs, they're very direct, they don't over complicate things in the middle of the park.
"It's two good footballing sides that like to have a decent go at each other."
Lawrie McKinna opted for a three-pronged attack in the Mariners win over Newcastle Jets last week and Kosmina doesn't expect him to tamper with his approach too much.
He said: "I would be very surprised if he changed it. It worked very effectively for them. Sometimes circumstances force changes.
"It'll be an interesting battle tomorrow night."
