Beasley struck in the 34th and 89th minutes while Landon Donovan converted a penalty in first-half injury time and Taylor Twellman struck in the 73rd minute.

With his goal, Donovan moved to second place in the all-time top-scorers list for the US with 31 goals - three behind Eric Wynalda.

It was the third straight clean-sheet for the United States in the Gold Cup as they finished top of Group B.

Beasley put the US ahead when he smashed home a Donovan corner from 18-yards just after 30 minutes.

Just before the break they went 2-0 up when Alfredo Pacheco handled the ball in the box and the referee pointed to the spot.

Donovan made no mistake as he struck the ball down the middle and into the back of the net.

New England Revolution's Twellman then made the game safe in the 73rd minute before Beasley completed the emphatic victory as he struck from eight yards.
