Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that big signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic could play a part on their tour of the United States.
Ibrahimovic arrived at the club from AC Milan to much fanfare last week for a reported fee of 15 million pounds.
He is just one of several big signings – Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi have also joined – the Parisian outfit have made in the off-season as they bid for domestic and continental success.
PSG are preparing for a friendly against Chelsea on Sunday and although Ibrahimovic will not play – he arrives in the US on Tuesday – Ancelotti revealed that he could play later on the tour and has tipped the striker to achieve great things with the club.
"When he arrives he will train four days and we will see how he is," Ancelotti said ahead of Sunday's match.
"It is possible he can play 30 minutes or 40 minutes (on July 28 v DC United) if he doesn't have a problem. If he's in good condition, it could be that he can play.
"With Ibrahimovic we will have a fantastic relationship because he is a winner and he is a professional player and I like the professional players.
"He will be a fantastic player for us. And I think with Ibrahimovic we have a lot of possibility to do our best."
Lavezzi is likely to feature against the European champions on Sunday when the two sides make history at Yankee Stadium, with the match to be the first ever staged at the home of famous baseball team, the New York Yankees.
