AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti believes Ronaldinho will only get better as the season continues.
The Brazil playmaker has provided evidence that he is returning to top form after his summer move from Barcelona, having found the net in the Rossoneri's last three games.
"Ronaldinho is doing very well," said Ancelotti. "He is doing what I expected of him.
"Perhaps what surprises me is his wish to rediscover his best form immediately."
Ronaldinho scored in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Lecce, having previously handed Milan all three points in their 1-0 league victory over Napoli and their narrow triumph against Braga in the UEFA Cup.
The 28-year-old is Milan's top scorer this campaign with five goals in Serie A.
"He has been a key player for us so far," said Ancelotti.
"I believe he will continue to be in the future because his condition will only continue to improve.
"He is very different to what was described of him in Spain.
"He is a shy lad and a great professional."
Milan currently sit in second spot in Serie A, one point behind leaders Inter Milan. The Rossoneri host Chievo on Sunday.
