Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti said his side are far from perfect ahead of their Ligue 1 clash with Bastia on Saturday.
After a disappointing start to the Ligue 1 season PSG have gained momentum, winning their past three games, which included a thumping 4-1 victory of Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Upcoming opponents Bastia were enjoying their return to the top division with wins against Sochaux and fellow promoted side Reims - but they have since slipped to three straight defeats, conceding nine goals in the process.
Ancelotti highlighted their aggressive attacking play, but called for balance from his team as they look to continue their winning run.
"Critics were normal because it was not normal that PSG did not win the first three games, we did not play good football," the ex-Chelsea mentor said.
"I'm focused on the work because I think that not everything is perfect today, we need to improve, and we need the mind to improve better every day.
"Today it's a good moment for the team but tomorrow night may be a moment more difficult. We need to prepare well, especially the next game because the atmosphere is going to be completely different than Tuesday night."
Ancelotti said Bastia have endured a tough run of fixtures of late, but said they could match PSG if they play with attacking intent.
"Bastia started really well this season by winning two games. Then I think it was more difficult for them, they lost 3 games, 9 goals were scored against them," the Italian said.
"But they are really focused on the attack, they've got that aggressiveness. I don't know if they're going to change this attitude to defend more but it's a team with a lot of intensity."
