AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti hopes his players can learn from their mistakes following yesterday´s disappointing defeat at Palermo.
The Rossoneri lost 3-1 in Sicily as their run of 11 games without loss came to an end to leave them six points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
"It´s a hard loss at an important time in the league," admitted Ancelotti. "We lacked aggressiveness, we were too slow and fearful.
"When we don´t play well we are unable to get a result and we should always take command on the pitch.
"We hope this slip will be a lesson to the team and will allow us to react and start another positive run."
The Rossoneri host Catania on Sunday and striker Alexander Pato should be fit to play, despite sustaining a rib injury against Palermo.
