BRISBANE Roar boss Ange Postecoglou gave his players a pass mark despite ending his dream of an unbeaten run at 'Fortress' Suncorp after just one match.
Speaking after he saw his home side go down 1-0 to a late goal from Adelaide United livewire Fabian Barbiero, Roar coach Ange Postecoglou insisted he couldn't fault the effort of his players.
"I can't say I'm disappointed (in the players) because we created enough opportunities but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net," he said.
He said the result gave added importance to the match against North Queensland Fury in four days time.
"It's a big one," he said. "It's at home and North Queensland are around the same mark so obviously it would be good to win.
"But if we put in that sort of performance and that sort of effort I think we'll do ok - it's just a matter of putting the ball in the back of the net."
