BRISBANE Roar boss Ange Postecoglou is confident Saturday's Suncorp Stadium clash can see his team can take advantage of a Melbourne Victory outfit that has leaked goals this season.
Melbourne were humbled 4-0 at home by Central Coast Mariners in their last outing, leaving them with the worst defensive record in the league, equal with bottom-placed North Queensland.
The Roar boss said although he expected second-placed Victory to bounce back strongly from the defeat, the hosts had plenty of reason to believe they could get the win.
"They're probably one of the most dangerous teams in the league in terms of their attacking half and we've got to be aware of that," Postecoglou said.
"They have leaked goals though, a bit like us, and I'm sure that's playing on their minds.
"We can get up on a team that's leaking goals so there are both strengths and weaknesses that we need to try and exploit."
Charlie Miller (groin), Henrique (knee) and Tommy Oar (international duty) are all expected to play some part in the match but Reinaldo, who scored in the last encounter, has been ruled out after failing to recover from a hamstring complaint.
However, Postecoglou said the personnel he had available were capable of getting a result.
"We're at that stage now where we've been through a tough period but now there are no more excuses for us," he said.
"They're a good side and they've got some quality individuals so it'll be a good test for us to see how we back up after a very, very good win in Adelaide.
"Everyone's spoken about the fact we need to get on a roll, well there's no better opportunity than the next two games at home, starting with the Victory tomorrow.
"So we need to respect them but, at the same time, understand that we're at home and we've got to get three points."
Brisbane Roar's match against Melbourne Victory kicks off at 6pm tomorrow night at Suncorp Stadium.
