Serbia have given themselves an excellent chance of reaching the second round in South Africa after recovering from their opening loss to Ghana with a stunning defeat of Germany.

They now know a victory over the under-achieving Australians in Nelspruit on Wednesday will be enough to take them through from Group D, but Antic is taking nothing for granted.

Antic watched the Socceroos draw with Ghana yesterday and said: "As the game went on, Australia had to change.

"They started aggressively and went ahead, but after the sending off of Harry Kewell had to change their approach.

"Despite this, they still went close to victory, and they have shown many times they are a competitive team.

"We must focus on our own game as we prepare for the match."
