Young Australian duo Terry Antonis and Ajdin Hrustic both scored their maiden senior goals for their Dutch clubs in the KNVB Beker overnight.
Antonis added VVV Venlo's third goal in a 3-0 win away to fourth tier Blauw Geel '38.
The 23-year-old made his VVV debut in the Cup match, having sat on the bench five times already this season.
Antonis put in a full shift, capped by his 41st minute strike where he received the ball on the edge of the box, before a clever lob over the goalkeeper.
Elsewhere, Ajdin Hrustic came off the bench to score Groningen's fourth goal in a 4-2 win away to USV Hercules.
Hrustic was a 59th minute substitute and hit the back of the net just over 15 minutes after entering the fray.
The 21-year-old worked a pair of neat one-two passing exchanges as he entered in the box before slotting on his left foot.
The one-time Socceroo was making his third appearance this season for Groningen.
