Veteran midfielders Juan Sebastian Veron and Juan Roman Riquelme have been recalled to the Argentina squad by new coach Alejandro Sabella.
Argentina face South American rivals Brazil in two friendlies next month and Sabella's first squad since replacing Sergio Batista as Argentina manager two weeks ago contains 24 home-based men.
Boca Juniors' star Riquelme is in line for his first appearance since October 2008 having been overlooked by Batista and Diego Maradona.
Veron, meanwhile, played for Sabella previously in his former role as Estudiantes coach.
