Arnold was released from his Socceroo duties after the dismal Asian Cup campaign and had his last game in charge against Argentina last month.

He is currently in charge of the Olyroos squad bidding to compete in Beijing 2008.

But SkySports UK claims the former Northern Spirit coach has thrown his hat in the ring for the Bolton hotseat in the english Premier League.

Sammy Lee was sacked by the club after a poor start to the season left them bottom of the league following Sam Allardyce's exit at the end of last season.

"Arnold believes he could be the man to fill it," said SkySports overnight. "Arnold is eager to try his hand in England and is also thought to be interested in the vacant post at Norwich

"Arnold has accrued plenty of experience working with both top level players and coaches, having served under Guus Hiddink at the 2006 World Cup."

Arnold this afternoon denied the reports, according to Fox Sports.
