APB STATE PREMIER LEAGUE - ROUND 19 MATCH OF THE WEEK
By Chris Correia
Western Knights v Perth SC - Nash Field - 3.00pm Saturday
Match highlights available on www.footballwest.tv from 2pm Monday
A genuine top-of-the-table clash will take place on Saturday afternoon at Nash Field in the APB State Premier League match of the week. League leaders Western Knights will host third-placed Perth SC in a match that will go a long way in deciding how the All Flags Finals Series pans out. Western Knights have been in scintillating form and are coming off a 4-0 thrashing of Balcatta. Perth is coming off a mid-season slump and will be looking to make it three wins on-the-trot against their rivals.
The form of Stuart Montgomery and Daniel Trim will be crucial in this contest, with the two strikers in devastating form this season thanks to the supply from 2009 Gold Medal winner David Micevski and Simon Versacio. Last week saw Perth convincingly beat Mandurah City 3-0 after Dom De Felice starred with a brace and Andreas Oliveira continuing his good run of form. Both teams met in last season's All Flags Grand Final and the Bam Creative Night Series Final this year, with Perth getting the better of the Knights on both occasions.

Inglewood United v Armadale - 6PR Stadium - 3.00pm Saturday
Live match broadcast on Heritage FM 107.3 from 2.30pm Saturday
Match highlights available on www.footballwest.tv from 2pm Monday
With just four games left in the APB State Premier League this season, there is no room for error for any team in the competition. Inglewood United sits three points clear of last-placed Cockburn City and cannot falter at 6PR Stadium this Saturday afternoon. Their opponents, Armadale, are just three points off a berth in the All Flags Finals Series and will be all guns blazing to get a victory against United.
Inglewood let a golden chance to take maximum points slip last week against fellow strugglers Swan United after a 3-3 results. Armadale, on the other hand, enjoyed a 3-2 win against ECU Joondalup, with ECU scoring two late goals. James Robinson continues to be Armadale's shining light, leading the Golden Boot race with 17 goals. The form of Adrian Caceres, Jake Geddes and Ryan Clarke will be vital in the outcome of the game. Inglewood's goal difference may also be an important factor in the fight to avoid relegation and a drastic turnaround in results will be needed immediately for Shane Pryce's team.

APB STATE DIVISION ONE - ROUND 18 FEATURE GAME
By Geoff Mason
Ashfield v Bayswater City - Ashfield Soccer & Sports Club - 6.30pm Saturday
The APB State Division One feature game is the local derby between Ashfield and Bayswater City at Ashfield Soccer & Sports Club on Saturday. With both teams sitting at different ends of the table, the match is a must-win for Bayswater if they wish to keep the pressure on Bunbury Forum Force for promotion, whilst for Ashfield a win will ease their relegation fears. Last time these two met saw Bayswater City win 8-1, so it will be Ashfield who will be looking to get some pride out of this match and also revenge for the losing the Night Series Final.
Ashfield will be looking towards key brothers Leo and Jake Harman if they are to win the midfield battle, hoping their experience in the ABP State Premier League will come into play, whilst needing John Monterosso to keep up his recent good form. Bayswater City on the other hand will be hoping key midfielders Anthony McStea and Damien Catalano can keep up their recent performances in the centre of the park, while needing leading goal scorer Gustavo Murulanda and Okwy Diamondstar to continue their goal scoring form.
A win or loss for either side could have different ramifications for each and will be hoping they can pick up the three points this weekend.

SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE - ROUND 15 FEATURE GAME
By Geoff Mason
Shamrock United v Joondalup United - Harold Rossiter Reserve - 3.00pm Sunday
The Sunday Premier League feature game is between league leaders Shamrock Rovers and third-placed Joondalup United at Harold Rossiter Reserve. With both teams coming off a win last weekend, victory for Shamrock would almost ensure championship status, whilst for the visitors it will result in them keeping pressure on the hosts at the top of the table. It is interesting to note that Shamrock are still the only unbeaten team in the division, whilst the previous match between the two teams produced eight goals, so an entertaining game may be on the cards this weekend.
The key players for the hosts will be James Kilbee and Patrick Byrne who will be looking to keep up their recent goal scoring form, whilst hoping Damian Smithers can continue his recent good work in midfield. The visitors on the other hand will be looking to key striker Lee Jones for the goals and hoping that a group effort from their midfield and defence will secure the performance that gets the points on Sunday afternoon.

SMARTER THAN SMOKING WOMEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE - ROUND 14 FEATURE GAME
By Ann Odong
Beckenham Angels v Northern Redbacks - Mills Park - 3.00pm Sunday
It's a true north v south battle in this week's Smarter than Smoking Women's Premier League feature game with Beckenham Angels hosting Northern Redbacks.
The Northern Redback bounced back from a disappointing late defeat at the hands of Balcatta to comfortably take care of Subiaco AFC last weekend. The true shining lights for 2010 in midfielder turned striker Carol Howes and impressive winger Sarah Carroll continue to star with their goals the difference. Although not as prolific in front of goals as in other years, it has been a more consistent defensive effort that has kept them in the title race. Leigh Kelly, Amy Knights, Lyndsey Valentine, Rebecca Dudek and Shawn Billam, have all been part of a stellar unit that has conceded the lowest number of goals alongside Balcatta. They will need to be solid again faced with an Angels strike force that could pose problems.
In a rollercoaster season, the Beckenham Angels looked to be back on a more level ride as they got on track with a 1-1 draw with UWA-Nedlands. Leo Coppens is back at the helm of the southern club, allowing captain Danielle Jeans to return to what she does best and the team is better for it. The big surprise packet has been forward Adelaide Knowles who has taken up the reigns as their premier striker with several important goals including Round 12's equaliser. Midfielders Lizzie Courtley, Clare Wragg and Jamie-Lee Gale have proved to be a handful for many teams and against the Redbacks they will need to assert themselves and assist Knowles up front.
The last time they met the Redbacks got the better of the Angels with a 3-0 victory at their home ground. However, considering the tight contest that ensued the last time they met on the Angels patch, this match is far from all sewn up.
