EDUARDO maintains that when Arsenal have all of their players fighting fit again, the Gunners can force themselves into the top three of the Barclays Premier League.
The Brazil-born Croatia striker has just returned from a year out with a broken leg, but will miss tomorrow's home game against Blackburn after suffering a minor groin problem during the dramatic Champions League penalty shootout win over Roma on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old - who saw his opening spot-kick saved - is not the only first-team regular currently battling to be at their peak.
Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor is close to fully shaking off the hamstring problem which has sidelined him since early February and captain Cesc Fabregas is expected to be back in action by the start of next month following his rehabilitation from knee ligament damage.
England winger Theo Walcott is already playing again after four months out with an injured shoulder, while there is hope long-term absentee Czech international Tomas Rosicky could feature before the end of the season.
Arsenal have improved in recent weeks as they look to overhaul Aston Villa, whom they now trail by only three points, and also secure a Wembley date against Chelsea in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Eduardo sees no reason why a fully-fit Arsenal should not chase down the leaders.
"What is important is that we are defending well and the performances are coming," he told Arsenal TV Online.
"There are a lot of great players coming back now - Walcott, Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and Adebayor - and it will be okay.
"I think we can be in the top three in the Premier League."
Other than the loss of Eduardo, who also suffered a hamstring problem following his initial comeback to competitive action, manager Arsene Wenger reported no fresh injury concerns following the trip to Rome.
Russian midfielder Andrei Arshavin is available after being cup-tied in the Champions League, but while defender Mikael Silvestre is fit after a calf injury, he lacks match practice.
With just five goals conceded in the previous 15 games, much of Arsenal's improvement has been down to a solid defence.
During that impressive run, William Gallas and Kolo Toure have dispelled suggestions they were not capable of playing alongside each other.
However, Ivory Coast international Toure admits the pair will never be close off the field.
"My relationships with William has improved, but it's just a professional relationship," said Toure, who handed in a transfer request during January after falling out of favour before having a change of heart and then coming back into the side.
"Once we are on the pitch we try to keep a professional attitude and to communicate."
Toure added: "I am friends with Johan Djourou, with Emmanuel Eboue, with Gael Clichy, but it is not the same with William.
"We never got on well together.
"However, it is the same within every company - you cannot be friends with everybody."
