Lyon expect Arsenal target Clement Grenier to sign a new deal with the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who recently won his first France cap, has reportedly attracted the interest of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
But Lyon are determined to keep hold of their man and chairman Jean-Michel Aulas is confident Grenier will extend his stay.
"Grenier will be here next year, we're looking at a one-year extension, perhaps more," Aulas told L'Equipe.
The Ligue 1 club recently sold centre-back Anthony Martial to big-spending Monaco in order to balance their books.
