Socceroo wonderkid Daniel Arzani scored his first goal for Celtic overnight with a stunning free kick strike.
Arzani's first goal for the Bhoys came in the 33rd minute of the Celtic Academy match against Aberdeen at the Hoops's training base in Lennoxtown.
He had earlier shown signs of his brilliance with precision through balls creating chances for Celtic until a foul on the edge of the box gave him chance to shine from a deadlball situation.
A superb hit from the left edge of the box proved too good for the flailing Aberdeen keeper and Celtic broke the deadlock. A second goal from Celtic sub Ewan Henderson sealed the 2-0 win.
But it was Arzani's goal that got Scotland talking.

The Daily Record - one of Scotland's biggest newspapers tweeted: "Daniel Arzani scored his first goal for Celtic - and it's a beauty!"
And Celtic's match report focused on the Aussie too, with the headline: "Arzani on target as Celtic sink Aberdeen"
Celtic fans flooded social media with praise for the Aussie and were convinced he's close to a first team call up, questioning why he is even playing in the reserves.
Arzani has his first and from a dead ball no less, something we badly need in the first XI. If his development continues, he may be called up sooner than thought. https://t.co/ZUW9aFBT54

just back from reserve game. 2 great goals. Arzani doesn't look that far from being ready for 1st team. Morgan looked sharp in 2nd half. Benyu? Not great. Armstrong had some nice touches.

Hope Arzani and Morgan are in the squad for Sunday. @CelticFC The team needs an injection of pace and creativity!

@CelticFC Arzani better be in the team for Killie

More importantly though was that Arzani played a full 90 minutes after constant questions over his stamina and fitness.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodger however still says Arzani is not quite ready for the first team yet - but a few more goals like this may change his mind.
Daniel Arzani “not quite ready”

Well Daniel Arzani can kick a ball competently from set pieces so he’s ready enough to play a part
Daniel Arzani for Celtic reserves. This kid is ready and full of confidence. Needs to be given his chance. Rodgers needs to believe in him like he did with Sterling in 2012 https://t.co/jF1pSpkL6N
