Central Coast Mariners have released Spanish striker Asdrubal because of homesickness.
Asdrubal, who signed for the Mariners from Las Palmas in July, scored two goals in 11 A-League appearances this season.
"Central Coast Mariners can today advise that the contract of Spanish striker, Asdrúbal has been terminated by mutual consent, effective immediately," the Mariners said in a statement.
"The 26-year-old will depart the Central Coast due to personal reasons. Central Coast Mariners would like to thank Asdrúbal for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best on his future endeavours."
Félix Asdrúbal Padrón Hernández also notched one assist in his brief spell on the Central Coast.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Asdrubal's family had failed to settle in Australia.
