In the J-League, Josh Kennedy played a full match and provided the assist for the winning goal as Nagoya Grampus defeated Kashima Antlers 3-2.

The Socceroo striker drew the ire of the Antlers crowd in the first half when he cleared a corner with his hand. Fortunately for Grampus, the referee missed the incident and Kennedy escaped unpunished.

Elsewhere in Japan, Alex Brosque played a full match as Shimizu S-Pulse lost 1-0 to relegation threatened Albirex Niigata.

In an all too familiar scenario, Matthew Spiranovic was left out of the Urawa squad that won 2-1 away to Gamba Osaka.

Fellow Socceroo defender Jade North put in a full shift as Consadole Sapporo took another step toward relegation with a 4-1 loss to Vegalta Sendai.

Mark Milligan was not in the JEF United team that lost 2-1 to title-rivals Tokyo Verdy. The defeat saw JEF drop back into second position on the J2 League table, one point behind Verdy.

In the K-League, Luke DeVere put in another full shift as Gyenongnam scored two late goals to secure a 3-2 win over Ulsan Hyundai.

Fit-again Matt Simon made his first start in three months as Chunnam Dragons defeated Daejon 1-0. Robbie Cornthwaite was not in the Chunnam squad.

Eddy Bosnar’s Suwon Bluewings drew 1-1 with Adrain Madaschi’s Jeju United. Bosnar played the first 50 minutes and Madaschi was also withdrawn, late in the second half.

Socceroo defender Sasa Ognenovski put in a full shift as Seongnam’s woes continued with a 1-0 loss to Busan I’Park. Matt McKay was absent from the Busan squad.

In the MLS, Andy Rose put in a full shift as 10-man Seattle Sounders suffered a shock 4-1 loss to Montreal Impact.

Elsewhere in the Americas, Richard Porta played the full 90 minutes as Nacional secured their 44th Uruguayan domestic title with a 1-0 victory over Defensor Sporting.

A goal from Alvaro Recoba late in the first half was enough to seal the win for Nacional. Porta finished the Primera Division season with 14 goals from just 11 matches.

In the Chinese Super League, Milan Susak came on in the 74th minute as Tianjin Teda secured a 2-0 win over Henen Jianye.

Mile Sterjovski’s Dalian Aerbin defeated Rostyn Griffiths’ Guangzhou R&F 2-1. Sterjovski put in a full shift and Griffiths played the first 58 minutes.

Joel Griffiths’ Shanghai Shenhua lost 2-0 to Changchun Yatai. A knee injury continues to keep Griffiths out of the Shanghai squad.

In Uzbekistan, David Carney did not feature in Bunyodkor’s 0-0 draw with Nasaf.
