Australian defender Tom Beadling has left Sunderland and joined Scottish second division side Dunfermline Athletic on loan for the rest of the season.
Born in the northern English town of Barrow, Beadling grew up in Perth.
He played state football for Western Australia and represented Australia at Under-13 level, before eventually returning to England to join Sunderland's academy.
Beadling, who has yet to play for the Black Cats' first-team, went on loan to Bury last season.
Now the 22-year-old will spend the next six months at Dunfermline.

Beadling, who is out of contract at the end of this season, has been a regular for Sunderland's Under-23s and has been on the bench several times for the first-team.
He heads to the Pars in search of senior football. The club is currently fifth on the table in the Scottish Championship.
