AUSSIE goalkeeper Nathan Coe appears to be fighting his way back into contention at Danish outfit FC Copenhagen after a stirring few days between the sticks.
After a frustrating spell, former Australian Under 20 international Coe was handed an opportunity for his club in a midweek cup tie.
The tie against Lyngby finished in a goalless draw and was eventually settled by a penalty shoot-out, Brisbane-boy Coe playing his part in the spot-kick drama.
Jesper Christiansen has been the regular custodian but Coe's performance clearly made his coach sit up and take notice.
Copenhagen defeated FC Midtjylland 3-0 this weekend in the Danish league and it was a tale of two keepers.
The coach used both keepers with Christiansen starting the game and 24-year-old Coe playing the second half.
Not that it might have helped the coach too much in terms of making his preferred choice with both enjoying 45 minute shut-outs.
The victory sees Coe's team sitting second in the table, just a single point behind leaders Odense.
