FORMER Australian Under 23 international Gareth Edds is on the lookout for a new club having parted company with English League One outfit Tranmere Rovers.
Versatile Edds, who can play at full-back or in midfield, was part of the Rovers side that escaped relegation on the final day of the campaign.
He started his career as a youngster with Nottingham Forest before moving on and enjoying spells with Swindon Town, Bradford City and MK Dons.
The 29-year-old's availablity could alert A-League clubs although it is not yet clear whether he intends to return home.
In other transfer news, another ex Olyroo, Trent McClenhan, remains in contract talks with Scottish outfit Hamilton Academical.
