Reports in the UK have linked Neil Kilkenny with a move away from Birmingham City.
Attacking midfielder Neil Kilkenny has been connected with a move to English Championship side Ipswich Town for the second time this year.
Kilkenny was hand-picked along with Kaz Patafta, Stuart Musialik and Kristian Sarkies to train with Guus Hiddink’s World Cup squad in Germany but has been on the outer under Steve Bruce at Birmingham. He has also recently played for the Rob Baan's U-23 national side under during Olympic 2008 qualification.
Birmingham City are currently poised for a return to the Premiership while Ipswich Town sit in 14th position.
The 21-year-old was brought to the attention of national selectors by Perth Glory’s Stan Lazaridis after he was made aware that Kilkenny grew up in Brisbane.
