Miller, who has been with the Cottagers since 2007, will now serve as an assistant coach to Rene Meulensteen who has been appointed as Jol’s replacement.

Fulham are currently 18th in the Premier League having won just three of their 13 games this season.

Meulensteen joined the London club to assist fellow Dutchman Jol just three weeks ago. Jol, a former Tottenham, Hamburg and Ajax manager, took over at Fulham in June 2011.

Miller originally started with Fulham’s Academy and has worked himself up the ladder to a first team position, assisting previous managers Roy Hodgson, Mark Hughes and Jol.

The 32-year old from Melbourne has also recently taken up a role assisting Ange Postecoglou with the Socceroos.

Miller, who replaced Robbie Hooker on the Socceroo coaching staff, was in charge of the national team’s fitness and conditioning for the friendly against Costa Rica at Allianz Stadium.
