YOUNG Scotland-based Aussie James Wesolowski has revealed he's loving life at Hamilton Accies and hopes to extend his career in the SPL.
The 22-year-old Sydney-born midfielder has enjoyed a successive loan spell this season at Hamilton from English Championship club Leicester City.
Wesolowski has been out of favour at his parent club in recent times and he spent the second half of last season in Scotland with Dundee United on loan.
And the former Northern Spirit youngster admits he's enjoying life north of the border and wants to remain there.
"I liked my time on loan at Dundee United last season and I'm enjoying it here - Scottish football suits my style," he told the Daily Record.
"I'm not in the manager's plans at Leicester so I'll need to move in the summer. Hopefully everything will fall into place this summer."
The youngster, who has had a horror run with injuries in the past, was last called up to the Socceroos for the 2007 friendly with Nigeria but still harbours an ambition to play international football and revealed there has been Australian interest.
He added: "I've heard scouts are coming to watch me against Kilmarnock on January 26 so it's a chance to impress.
"If I don't make the Australia squad for the World Cup I'll watch it on TV around Sydney harbour."
Wesolowski openly admits he misses his home city, but claims he's living his dream playing football in Europe, despite the current climate.
"The weather has been a bit surreal here. Even in England it wasn't as bad last year. It's different this time - really hard to get warm," he said.
"I tell folk back home that games are cancelled because of snow and they can't believe it. Over there it's about 35 degrees, it's the height of summer."
He added: "I miss it but I'm willing to give it up to play in the UK. It's something I always wanted to do when I was younger and I have that chance at Hamilton.
"I don't care if the weather is 35 degrees or minus 10 - I'd do anything to continue playing here.
"I'm living in Glasgow - which is really nice - and the atmosphere at the club is fantastic. I'm enjoying life and looking forward to every game."
