In Germany Mathew Leckie finally made his comeback for Hertha Berlin coming on in the 89th minute as his side drew 2-2 with Werder Bremen.
Brandon Borrello was still an unused sub for Freiburg SC as they beat Union Berlin 3-1.
In Austria Jimmy Jeggo played a full match with Austria Wien, drawing 0-0 at home to St Polten.
James Hollland was rested for LASK Linz as they beat Mattersburg 1-0 away from home. As well as preparing to face Manchester United in the Europa League knockout phase, LASK are now six points clear at the top of the Austrian Bundesliga.
In Denmark Mustafa Amini started and played 82 minutes for AGF FC as they progressed to the semi-finals of the Danish Cup beating Esbjerg 4-1. Alex Gersbach was on the bench.
Awer Mabil played 90 minutes for FC Midtjylland as they defeated Randers 2-0 away.
In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic played 90 minutes for FC Groningen as they lost 1-0 at home to PSV. Groningen have now lost three on the bounce and are being edged out of the top seven in the Eredivisie.
In Serbia Milos Degenek played 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet for Red Star Belgrade who secured a 3-0 win over Macva Sabac.
In Turkey Aziz Behich was an unused sub as Basaksehir beat Goztepe 3-0.
In Cyprus Apostolos Giannou started and played 54 minutes as AEK Larnaca lost 3-0 to Anorthosis in the Cypriot league.
In Bulgaria Tomi Juric was an unused sub for CSKA Sofia as they beat Beroe in the league.
