It was a positive week for our Aussies Abroad with many coming face to face in the bright lights of Europe and the UK. Oliver Bozanic is in the middle of a relegation scrap while four Socceroos are shaping up for a title fight.
UK
In the English Premier League earlier in the week Mat Ryan and Aaron Mooy played 90 minutes a Brighton drew 2-2 at home to Wolves.

The Aussies chase a spot in the top half of the Premier League on Tuesday when they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace.
In the Championship Jackson Irvine played a full match while Callum Elder played 85 minutes for Hull City in a 2-0 loss to Leeds. They came close to rectifying the result with another full game for Irvine and 63 minutes for Elder in a 2-2 draw against Charlton.
Massimo Luongo played 11 minutes off the bench in a 1-1 draw with Derby but finally got a start and 90 minutes in Sheffield Wednesday's 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Kenny Dougall was back in Barnsley's team as he started and played 90 minutes in both their 1-1 draw with Reading and 5-3 win over QPR. Meanwhile Bailey Wright was absent from Bristol City's 2-1 loss to Millwall and 2-0 loss to Blackburn.
In the Scottish League Tom Rogic was an 84th minute substitute for Celtic as they beat Hibs 2-0 which saw Martin Boyle play a full game. Lyndon Dykes played 90 minutes for Livingston as they drew 3-3 away from home to St Mirren.
Oliver Bozanic played a full match for Hearts as they lost 1-0 at home to St. Johnstone. Hearts are currently second last with 12 points in the relegation zone.
In League One action Harry Souttar played a full game for Fleetwood Town in a 1-1 draw with Gillingham, maintaining their place in the top ten. Ryan Edwards was absent from Burton Albion's 2-0 loss to Wycombe Wanderers.
Retiring Socceroos legend Mark Milligan played a full match for Southend United in a 2-2 draw with Rotherham United. Ryan Williams played 25 minutes off the bench for Portsmouth in a 4-1 loss away to Accrington Stanley.
In League Two Cameron Burgess played 90 minutes for Salford City in a 1-0 win at home to Exeter City. Gethin Jones played a full game while Jack Iredale was absent for Carlisle United in a 0-0 draw to Grimsby Town.
Grimsby's interim manager is Australian Anthony Limbrick. The draw was his second point as head coach.

In the English youth leagues Peter Gwargis scored the winner for Brighton U23 as they beat Arsenal U23 1-0 at home. Alex Robertson played 77 minutes for Man City U18 in a 3-0 win over West Brom U18.
EUROPE
In the UEFA Champions League Milos Degenek's Red Star Belgrade were knocked out after a 1-0 loss to Olympiacos with the Aussie playing 90 minutes. They finished last in the group.

In the UEFA Europa League James Holland played 90 minutes as LASK finished top of the group after a 3-0 win over Sporting Lisbon. Aziz Behich was unused for Basaksehir as they beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-1, topping their group as well.
In the German Bundesliga Mathew Leckie and Brandon Borrello's clubs faced off, but the match lacked any Australian flavour. Leckie was absent due to injury for Hertha Berlin who defeated Freiburg 1-0 with Borrello on the bench.
Joshua Laws was on the bench for Fortuna Dusseldorf II as they lost 3-2 to Alemannia Aachen.
In Denmark a quartet of Aussies faced off against each other. Awer Mabil scored his fifth of the season for FC Midtjylland but the home side were shocked by AGF, losing 3-1 at home. Mustafa Amini and Zach Duncan played 90 minutes while Alex Gersbach was absent.
In Austria Jimmy Jeggo was a 68th minute substitute for Austria Wien in a 1-1 draw with Wolfsberg. James Holland was rested for LASK in their 3-3 draw at home to Sturm Graz.
In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic played 90 minutes for FC Groningen as they drew 1-1 away from home to Ado Den Haag. Dylan Ryan meanwhile was an unused sub as Willem II recorded a 2-1 in away to Heerenveen.
In the Dutch second division Declan Lambert played 13 minutes off the bench while Ryan Lambert was absent as Den Bosch beat NAC Breda 2-1. Daniel Bouman was an unused sub for SC Cambuur in their 4-2 win away to FC Dordrecht.
In Croatia Fran Karacic was absent from NK Lokomotiv Zagreb's 1-0 derby loss to Dinamo Zagreb Anthony Kalik was unused for Hajduk Split in a 2-1 win at home to Istra 1961.
In Portugal Anthony Carter stole the show with a brace for Academico Viseu as they beat Cove Piedade 4-1.
In Serbia Milos Degenek came on for 10 minutes in Red Star's 3-1 win at home to Cukaricki.
In Israel Trent Sainsbury and Nikita Rukavytsya both played 90 minutes as Maccabi Haifa drew 0-0 with Hapoel Raanana. They remain three points behind Maccabi Tel Aviv in the race for the title.
ASIA
In Saudi Arabia Craig Goodwin made the Saudi team of the week after assisting two goals in Al Wehda's 2-0 win over Al Adalh.

Brad Jones played 90 minutes for Al Nassr as they beat Al Taawoun 2-1 at home.
Both Aussies are vying for the title in Saudi Arabia with Jones' team two points ahead of Goodwin. Jones' Al Nassr won the league last season.
In India David Williams played a full game while Dario Vidosic was absent for ATK as they lost 2-1 to FC Goa. Erik Paartalu played 90 minutes for Bengalurru FC in a 3-2 home loss to Mumbai City.
