Ryan Edwards was a second half substitute as Partick Thistle beat Inverness 2-0 on the opening weekend of the Scottish Premiership.

Scott McDonald's Motherwell also banked three points as they accounted for Kilmarnock 2-1 on their travels.

In Austria, James Jeggo played a full match for SK Sturm Graz as they claimed a 2-0 away win over SV Mattersburg.

Alex Gersbach also played 90 minutes for Rosenborg BK as they beat Lillestrom SK 4-3 in Norway.

Aurelio Vidmar suffered a defeat in his first game in charge of Bangkok Glass, with his side going down to Bangkok United in their local derby in Thailand.
