In the English Premier League Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet and Aaron Mooy was an unused sub as Brighton and Hove Albion defeated Watford 3-0.

In the Scottish Premiership Lyndon Dykes played a full game for Livingston in a 2-2 draw with St Johnstone. Oliver Bozanic played 13 minutes off the bench for Hearts in a 0-0 draw with Ross County.
In the English Championship, and by popular demand, Aussie referee Jared Gillett refereed Swansea City's 0-0 draw with Derby County. The ref gave a penalty to Derby which wasn't converted and three yellow cards.
Jackson Irvine scored in Hull City's 2-1 win over Reading. Irvine assisted last week for Hull and has kept his August form up with a goal.

Massimo Luongo made his debut for Sheffield Wednesday, coming on with ten minutes to play in a 2-0 win over Barnsley, for whom Kenny Dougall was absent. Bailey Wright started and played 72 minutes in Bristol City's 1-1 draw with Birmingham City.
In League One action Ryan Edwards played a full match and got an assist for Burton Albion in their 2-1 win over Gillingham. Mark Milligan played a full game for Southend United in a 3-1 loss to Blackpool. Harry Souttar played a full 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town in their 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.
In League Two Jack Iredale was an unused sub for Carlisle United in their 3-2 loss to Swindon Town for whom Jordan Lyden played a full game.
In the English youth leagues Tyrese Francois played a full match as Fulham U23 lost 3-0 to West Ham United U23.
Caleb Watts started and played 72 minutes for Southampton U18 as they went down 3-2 to Aston Villa U18.

In the first leg of UEFA Champions League qualifiers Milos Degenek played a full match as Red Star Belgrade drew 1-1 with Kobenhavn at home. James Holland played a full match and dominated midfield for LASK Linz in a 2-1 away win over FC Basel. Aziz Behich was absent from Basaksehir's 1-0 qualifying loss to Olympiacos.
In Europa League first leg qualifying Apostolos Giannou played a full match for AEK Larnaca was they drew 1-1 with Gent in their match.
In Germany Brandon Borrello started and played 111 minutes for SC Freiburg as they knocked Magdeburg out of the DfB Pokal 1-0 after extra time. Mathew Leckie played a full match for Hertha Berlin in their 5-1 win over Eichstatt in the cup.

Christian Theoharous played 25 minutes off the bench for Borussia Mönchengladbach II in their 5-1 loss to Rot-Weiss Oberhausen. Jacob Young was on the bench as Hoffenheim II defeated Bahlinger 3-2. John Iredale played 74 minutes for Wolfsburg II in their 3-3 draw with Hamburger SV II.
In Austria James Holland was rested and played 35 minutes of LASK Linz's 1-0 win over Flyeralarm Admira. Jimmy Jeggo played a full 90 minutes and got an assist as Austria Wien smashed Mattersburg 5-1.
In Denmark Zach Duncan made his debut as a second half substitute while Mustafa Amini played a full game for AGF in their 2-1 loss to Lyngby.
Awer Mabil started and played 88 minutes for FC Midtjylland as they defeated Horsens 2-0 away from home.
In the Netherlands Trent Sainsbury was absent from the matchday squad for PSV as they defeated ADO Den Haag 3-1. Ajdin Hrustic started and played 80 minutes for FC Groningen in their 3-1 loss to FC Twente. Dylan Ryan was an unused sub for Willem II in their 2-0 loss at home to Vitesse Arnhem.
In the Dutch Second Division Daniel Bouman was an unused sub for SC Cambuur in their 2-0 loss away to De Grafschaap.
In Belgium George Timotheou was absent from Zulte Waragrem's squad that defeated Genk 2-0 away from home. Danny Vukovic was absent due to an ACL injury.
In Croatia Fran Karacic played a full match for NK Lokomotiv Zagreb in their 4-1 win over Istra 1961.

In Japan Ange Postecoglou's J-League title chances are fading following Yokohama F Marinos's 2-1 loss to Kashima Antlers. The loss leaves Yokohama in fourth place and nine points behind FC Tokyo who lead the league.
Mitchell Langerak kept a clean sheet in Nagoya Grampus's 3-0 victory over Kawasaki Frontale.
In Korea Adam Taggart went his second week without a goal and Terry Antonis was absent as Suwon Bluewings went down 1-0 to Incheon United for whom Rashid Mahazi played a full match.
Bernie Ibini was absent from Jeonbuk Hyundai's 2-1 win over Pohang Steelers. Jason Davidson was absent from Ulsan Hyundai in their 1-1 draw with Daegu.

In the MLS Brad Smith was still absent injured as Seattle Sounders played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with New England Revolution.
Andy Rose played a full match as Vancouver Whitecaps were defeated 3-1 by Portland Timbers.
In the USL Antonee Burke-Gilroy played a full match while Jesse Daley played until the 73rd minute as Seattle Sounders II defeated Orange County.
Kearyn Baccus was an 82nd minute substitute for Kaizer Chiefs in their 1-0 victory over Black Leopards.
