UK 

In the English Premier League Aaron Mooy was back in the side playing 90 minutes and Mat Ryan was between the sticks for Brighton & Hove Albion in their 2-0 loss at home to Leicester. 

Ryan's efforts shouldn't go unnoticed making a number of quality saves including a penalty stop against Jamie Vardy. Unfortunately it was disallowed for encroachment and the Socceroos keeper couldn't save the second spot kick. 

In the Championship Massimo Luongo made a return to action playing 20 minutes off the bench as Sheffield Wednesday went down 2-1 to West Brom. Bailey Wright started and played 65 minutes for Bristol City keeping a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Kenny Dougall took some time on the bench and played the second half for Barnsley in their 3-2 loss to Blackburn Rovers. Adam Federici was on the bench for Stoke City as they beat Wigan 2-1 at home. 

Jackson Irvine played a full match while Callum Elder started and played an hour for Hull City as they drew 2-2 away to Middlesborough.  

In Scotland Tom Rogic started, played 76 minutes and got an assist for Celtic as they defeated Livingston 4-0. Lyndon Dykes played 90 minutes at centre-forward for Livingston.

Oliver Bozanic played another full game for Hearts but they went down 3-0 to Kilmarnock. 

Martin Boyle made another appearance off the bench for Hibernian, this time playing just over 20 minutes as Hibs beat Motherwell. 

In League One action Ryan Williams scored the final goal for Portsmouth in their 3-0 victory away to Rochdale.

Mark Milligan played 90 minutes for Southend United as they lost 4-0 at home to Oxford United. 

Ryan Edwards played a full game for Burton Albion in a 1-0 loss away to Peterborough. Harry Souttar played 90 minutes as Fleetwood Town beat Tranmere Rovers 2-1 to take them to seventh on the ladder. 

In League Two, Cameron Burgess' Salford City got a clean sheet and a 0-0 draw with Macclesfield Town. Jack Iredale and Gethin Jones both played 90 minutes in Carlisle United's 0-0 draw with Cambridge United.

In the English Youth Leagues Peter Gwargis played 90 minutes as Brighton U23 lost 5-3 to Liverpool U23. 

EUROPE 

In Germany Brandon Borrello started in the Bundesliga and played 58 minutes as Frieburg SC drew 1-1 with Bayer Leverkusen. Mat Leckie was absent from Hertha Berlin's match day squad as they were thumped 4-0 by Augsburg away from home.  

Joeys striker Noah Botic scored on his return to Hoffenheim U19 as they beat Kaiserslautern U19 2-0. 

In Austria James Holland played a full game and got a yellow card as LASK Linz beat WSG Wattens 2-0 away from home. Jimmy Jeggo played 78 minutes for Austria Wien in a 0-0 draw with Flyeralarm. 

In Denmark Mustafa Amini played 90 minutes while Zach Duncan and Alex Gersbach were absent for AGF in a 2-1 win over Brondby.

In Serbia Milos Degenek played 90 minutes as Red Star Belgrade beat Radnicki 2-0 away from home. Degenek's side are seven points clear in the Serbian league. 

In Turkey Aziz Behich was unused again for Basaksehir as they got a huge result, beating Galatasaray 1-0 away from home. 

In the Netherlands Ajdin Hrustic started and played 83 minutes as FC Groningen rescued a 1-1 draw at home to Feyenoord. 

Declan Lambert was a stoppage time substitute while Ryan Lambert was unused as Den Bosch beat Almere City 2-0. 

In Croatia Anthony Kalik started and played 86 minutes for Hajduk Split as they drew 1-1 with Dinamo Zagreb. Fran Karacic played 90 minutes for NK Lokomotiv Zagreb as his side lost 1-0 away to Slaven Belupo. 

In Cyprus Apostolos Giannou played 90 minutes but AEK Laraca couldn't stop Nea Salamis their away woes. Larnaca haven't won on the road since August. 

In Bulgaria Tomi Juric is still nowhere to be seen for CSKA Sofia having been absent in their match day squad's 3-0 win over Botev Vratsa.

In Portugal Anthony Carter was an 88th minute substitute for Academico Viseu in a 1-0 loss to Feirense. 

ASIA & AFRICA 

In Japan Ange Postecoglou couldn't have asked for a better result in the J-League. Yokohama F Marinos got a 1-0 win over Matsumoto Yamaga while challengers FC Tokyo drew 1-1 with Shonan Bellmare. 

Ange's side sit one point ahead of FC Tokyo and could wrap up the title with a win next week against Kawasaki Frontale if FC Tokyo lose at the same time. If not, it'll be a showdown in the final week as the top two face off. 

Mitchell Langerak's Nagoya Grampus drew 0-0 with Sagan Tosu. Langerak played 90 minutes in a match that keeps his side's head above water in the relegation fight. 

In Uzbekistan Steven Lustica played 90 minutes as Qizilqim drew 1-1 with Buxoro. 

In Saudi Arabia Craig Goodwin played 95 minutes for Al Wehda as they got the better of Brad Jones' Al Nassr as the goalkeeper played a game between the sticks. 

In India Erik Paartalu played 90 minutes for Bengalurru as they defeated Kerala Blasters 1-0 while David Williams played 77 minutes for ATK as they drew 0-0 with Odisha.

Kearyn Baccus was back in the side in Africa as he played the first half of Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 loss to Maritzburg United.
