UK 

In the English Premier League Aaron Mooy and Mat Ryan played 90 minutes for Brighton & Hove Albion as they lost 2-1 to Tottenham Hotspur. 

Their fortunes were much better later in the week as Mooy scored his first goal for the Seagulls in a massive 2-0 win over Bournemouth. 

Ryan kept a clean sheet as Mooy had his goal labelled 'Bergkamp-esque' when he chested the ball and touched it past the defender before finishing into the side netting. 

In Scotland Martin Boyle was at the double again for Hibernina, sinking Oli Bozanic's Hearts 2-0 away from home. Bozanic played the second half. 

Lyndon Dykes continued his goal scoring form for Livinsgton scoring his eighth goal of the season in a 2-1 loss to Aberdeen.

Tom Rogic was an unused sub for Celtic in a 2-1 win over St.Mirren. He hasn't started a league match since the first of December.

In the English Championship Jackson Irvine won Hull City three points overnight scoring an 89th minute winner in a 2-1 win away to QPR. 

Bailey Wright was an unused sub as Bristol City lost 3-2 away to Charlton Athletic. Young goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer was on the bench for the home side. 

Massimo Luongo started and played 57 minutes for Sheffield Wednesday as they lost 3-2 to Stoke City. Kenny Dougall spent another week on the bench for Barnsley as they rescued a last minute 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion. 

Callum Elder started but was withdrawn with an injury while Jackson Irvine played 90 minutes in a 2-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at home.

Socceroos hopeful dealt another injury blow

Socceroos hopeful Callum Elder has been dealt yet another injury blow in his breakout season with Hull City in the Championship.

Luongo's Sheffield are in fourth spot, Hull and Bristol City sit in mid table while Kenny Dougall's Barnsley are fighting relegation in second last spot. 

In League One Ryan Edwards played an average game for Burton Albion despite his side winning 4-2 at home to Tranmere Rovers. Ryan Williams is another issue in the infirmary after being replaced after eight minutes with a groin injury in Portsmouth's 2-0 win over Wycombe Wanderers. 

Harry Souttar played 90 minutes for Fleetwood Town as they beat Rochdale 3-2 away from home. Mark Milligan played 90 minutes as Southend United drew 2-2 with MK Dons. 

Souttar's Fleetwood and Williams' Portsmouth sit just outside the top six playoff spots while Southend are ten points from second last. 

In League Two Gethin Jones played a full match while Jack Iredale made his return to the bench for Carlisle United as they drew 0-0 with Bradford City. 

Cameron Burgess played a full game for Salford City as they beat Crewe Alexandra 3-1. Jordan Lyden was on the bench for Swindon Town as they smashed Cambridge United 4-0. 

In the FA Youth Cup Alex Robertson was an unused sub for Man City U18 as they beat Swansea U18 3-0. 

EUROPE 

In Israel Nikita Rukavytsya scored a double in Maccabi Haifa's 3-0 win over Hapoel Haifa. He doubled down later in the week scoring a 90th minute winner in a 2-1 win away to Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. 

Trent Sainsbury played 90 minutes in both wins for Maccabi Haifa. Rukavytsya has ten goals in 15 matches in the Israeli League. 

In Portugal Anthony Carter was a stoppage time substitute as Academico Viseu drew 1-1 with Mafra.

In Turkey Aziz Behich was unused again for Basaksehir as they beat Kasimpasa 5-1. Behich has played only four matches out of 17 so far in the Turkish league. 

ASIA 

In India Erik Paartalu played 90 minutes for Benagalurru as they lost 1-0 to ATK courtesy of a winning goal from David Williams. Dario Vidosic was absent for ATK. 

In Saudi Arabia Craig Goodwin played a full match as Al Wehda beat Al Faisaly 1-0 at home. Brad Jones started but was sent off after 65 minutes as Al Nassr beat Al Feiha 4-1. Jones' opposition had two players sent off which allowed Al Nassr back into the match. 

Goodwin's side are keeping up the pace with Jones who sit five points ahead at the top of the league.
