The Australian international then put Hertha ahead 2-1 on 51 minutes with a left-footed shot which left Dusseldorf keeper Michael Melka with no chance.

And the Socceroo then layed on the assist for Pierre-Michel Lasogga to make it 3-2 on 77 minutes.
