Kennedy, who scored a double in Australia's recent 3-0 win over New Zealand, continued his rich vein of form with Nagoya's second goal in the draw.

Ryota Isomura had put Grampus ahead on the stroke of half-time, before Kennedy doubled their advantage from the spot on 52 minutes.

However, Omiya hit back with Takuya Aoki hitting a late double to earn the visitors a share of the spoils. The result ends reigning champions Nagoya's recent run of three consecutive wins.

"I've been trying those in training during the week, and it worked for me today so it's good," said Bosnar.

"Once a week we have half an hour where we have to do free kicks, and I always take them from that position. It's been happening for me in training and I got lucky, I guess."
