AUSSIES ABROAD: In-form fringe Socceroo Bruce Djite has scored his third goal in three games in Jiangsu Sainty's 4-0 win over Dalian Shide in China's Super League on Saturday.
Djite, who is on loan at Jiangsu from Adelaide United, scored the second goal of the game following Cristian Danalache's 19th-minute penalty kick.
The Australian forward struck eight minutes into the second-half after Lu Jianye stole the ball in midfield and passed to Djite who made space for a low shot from outside the box which found its way into the back of the net.
The goal was Djite's fourth since moving to China and he was looking for more later in the contest, before providing an assist for the third.
Djite cleverly flicked the ball into space inside the box for Danalache to run on to and fire in for 3-0, before Tan Si rounded out the scoring on 88 minutes.
The former Genclerbirligi striker played a full game in the contest, along with Alex Wilkinson in defence for Jiangsu who are up to 11th.
In Japan's J.League, Joshua Kennedy's miscued effort on goal resulted in the equaliser in Nagoya Grampus' 1-1 draw at Vegalta Sendai on Saturday.
