Later in the week in Scotland, Tom Rogic played a full match for Celtic, scoring the final goal in a 9-0 win over Shamrock Rovers in a club friendly.

EUROPE

Former Brisbane Roar striker Kwame Yeboah started and played 72 minutes for Borussia Moenchengladbach in a 1-0 win against Wuppertaler SV.

Yeboah had a good first-half chance to score but his header was straight at the opposition goalkeeper.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Bundesliga club in 2014, signed a new two-year contract extension in May and appears set for a big season.
