Tom Rogic won the battle of the Aussies in Scotland while a number of youngsters impressed in the youth leagues in the Netherlands.

In Italy Giancarlo Galifuoco played two ful games for Rieti FC as they lost 1-0 to Vibonese and 3-0 to Trapani. Reno Piscopo was an unused sub in Renate's 1-0 loss to Virtus Verone but played 90 minutes in a 2-1 loss to Pordenone. Nick Pennington was substituted after 28 minutes due to injury in Olbia's 0-0 draw with Alessandria. Daniel Alessi played 90 minutes for Sasso Marconi in a 2-0 win over Ciliverghe Mazzano.
In Serbia Milos Degenek played 90 minutes in Crvena Zvezda's 3-1 win over Rad. Dejan Pandurevic was absent for FK Zemun's 2-0 loss to Radnicki Nis while Andrew Marveggio was also absent for Macva Sabac's 1-0 loss to Proleter Novi Sad.
In Germany Mat Leckie played 28 minutes off the bench for Hertha Berlin in their 1-1 draw with SC Freiburg. Robbie Kruse played a full match as VFL Bochum drew 0-0 with Hamburger SV. Kwame Yeboah was absent from Fortuna Koln's squad that defeated Energie Cottbus 3-1.
Julian Schwarzer was an unused sub for Pipinsried as they drew 2-2 with Heimstetten. George Timotheou was an unused sub for Schalke II as they defeated SV Schermbeck 2-0.
In Greece Haris Stamboulidis was absent fro Aris Thessaloniki's squad that lost 2-1 at home to PAOK. Peter Makrillos was missing from Panionios' squad that lost 1-0 to Panathinaikos.
In Holland Socceroo Trent Sainsbury was an unused sub while Aziz Behich played 33 minutes off the bench as PSV smashed FC Emmen 6-0. Ajdin Hrustic started and played 67 minutes as FC Groningen lost 4-1 to Heracles Almelo. Dean Bouzanis was an unused sub while Denis Genreau was absent from PEC Zwolle's squad that lost 3-0 to Feyenoord.
George Mells was an unused sub for Jong Sittard as they beat Jong NAC Breda 5-1. Quivi Fowler was absent from Jong FC Dordrecht's squad that drew 1-1 with Jong AZ. 17-year old Luca Da Silva played a full match for Willem II U21 in their 3-1 loss to Ado Den Haag U21. Daniel Baggio was a super sub for Jong Sparta Rotterdam coming on with seven minutes to go and scoring against Ajax U19 although it was a consolation in a 4-2 loss. Thomas Prinsen played a full match for Jong Almere who defeated SC Caambur U19 2-1. Daniel Bouman played a full game and scored for Jong FC Gonigen in a 2-2 draw with Hoek.

In Switzerland Tomi Juric was absent from FC Luzern's squad that lost 2-0 to Thun. Liam Chipperfield was injured for FC Basel U15s as they beat FC Thun U15s 3-0.
Danny Vukovic played a full match in KRC Genk's 2-1 win over Eupen.
Alex Gersbach was an unused sub for Rosenborg who drew 0-0 with Lillestrom. Luc Jeggo played a full game for Floro SK as they beat Levanger 1-0 in the last minute.
In Portugal Gavin De Niese was a 16th minute sub for Desportivo da Gafanha as they drew 3-3 with Lusitania Laurosa. Danny Choi played 24 minutes off the bench for Oliveira do Hospital in a 1-0 loss to ARC Oleiros.
In Austria Jimmy Jeggo played 90 minutes for Austria Wiena as they drew 1-1 with Sturm Graz. James Holland played 90 minutes for LASK Linz as they drew 1-1 with Altach. Caleb Mikulic was an unused sub as Young Violets Austria Wien lost 5-2 to Lusteneau.
In Denmark Mustafa Amini played a full game for AGF as they drew 2-2 with Aalborg. Awer Mabil backed up his international heroics with an assist for FC Midtjylland as he played 63 minutes in a 4-1 win over Nordsjaelland. Brent McGrath played three minutes off the bench for Esbjerg FC as they defeated Hobro 2-0.
In Croatia Steve Lustica was absent from Inter Zapresic's squad that lost 2-1 to NK Rijeka. Anthony Kalik played a full game for NK Rudes who lost 4-1 to Osijek. Fran Karacic played a full game as NK Lokomotiv Zagreb defeated Hajduk Split 2-0. Mark Rizoski was absent from NK Lucko's squad that beat NK Sesvete 1-0.
In Finland Dylan Murnane played a full game while Jacob Esposito played 15 minutes off the bench as his PS Kemi defeated IFK Mariehamn 2-0.
Apostolos Giannou played 38 minutes for AEK Larnaca as they beat Doxa 3-0.
Aleksander Susnjar played a full game in MSK Zilina's 2-2 draw with Michalovce.
Deni Juric was an unused sub as NK Triglav lost 2-0 to NK Olympija.

In Premier League action Aaron Mooy played a full game as Huddersfield went down 1-0 to Liverpool. Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet for Brighton against Newcastle United in a 1-0 victory.
In the Championship Mile Jedinak was an unused sub as Aston Villa beat Swansea 1-0. Bailey Wright was absent for Bristol City as they lost 1-0 to Brentford. Jackson Irvine played a full match for Hull City in their 1-1 draw with Preston North End. Adam Federici was an unused sub for Stoke City who lost 1-0 to Birmingham City. Massimo Luongo played a full match in QPR's 2-0 away win over Ipswich Town. James Meredith started and played 69 minutes for Millwall as they lost 3-1 to Reading. Ryan Williams played a full game for Rotherham as they drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers.
In English League One action Ryan McGowan played a full game while Brad Inman was absent as Bradford City lost 2-0 to Rochdale. Kai Caldebrank-Park was an unused sub for Burnley U18 as they defeated Hull City U18 3-1. Tyrese Francois played a full game for Fulham U23 that lost 3-0 to West Brom U23. Jacob Young played 90 minutes for Sunderland U23 as they were defeated 3-0 by Manchester United U23. Liam Driscoll and Joel Rollinson were both unused subs as Reading U23 defeated Middlesborough U23 3-2. Cameron McGilp played 79 minutes and hit the crossbar for Birmingham City U23 as they beat Nottingham Forest U23 1-0. Riley Warland played a full game for Fulham U18 as they beat Brighton U18 2-1.
In the SPFL it was a battle of the Aussies as Celtic took on Hibernian. Tom Rogic scored a belter for Celtic and played 72 minutes while Mark Milligan started and played 71 minutes, Jamie Maclaren made his return from injury with three minutes off the bench and Martin Boyle scored and assisted for Hibernian as Celtic ran away 4-2 victors.

Oli Bozanic played a full game while Ben Garuccio was an unused sub for Hearts as they beat Aberdeen 2-1. Andy Rose played a full game as Motherwell lost 1-0 to St Johnstone. Ryan Edwards played 18 minutes off the bench for St Mirren as they lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock.
In the Scottish League Tom Beadling was an unused sub for Dunfermline Athletic as they lost 1-0 to Queen of the South for whom Lyndon Dykes played a full match. Jack Iredale played the last two minutes for Greenock Morton's 1-0 win over Falkirk.

In Japan Ange Postecoglou's good run of form came to an end as Yokohama F Marinos lost 2-1 to Gamba Osaka. Mitch Duke was an unused sub for Shimizu S-Pulse as they beat Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2-0. Mitch Langerak played a full game and kept a clean sheet as Nagoya Grampus beat Kashiwa Reysol 1-0. Andrew Nabbout played five minutes for Urawa Red Diamonds as they beat Kashima Antlers 3-1. Jason Geria played a full game for JEF United Chiba in their 4-2 loss to Oita Trinita.
In Korea Connor Chapman played a full match for Pohang Steelers as they lost 2-0 to Suwon Samsung Bluewings. James Donachie played 10 minutes off the bench as Jeonnam Dragons lost 2-1 to Daegu.
