While our Socceroos are on international duty, some fresh faces came to shine in this week's Aussies Abroad. It was goals galore in the UK and Europe while two young players made their first team debuts.
EUROPE
In Italy Gabriel Cleur was an unused sub for Virtus Entella in their 2-1 win over Pontedera. Nick Pennington played a full game as Olbia drew 1-1 with Pisa. It was a week to forget for Daniel Alessi, playing a full match in a 3-0 loss to Catanzaro and another 90 minutes in a 4-0 loss to Reggiana. Lucas Alcorace was absent from Anzio Calcio's squad that lost 6-1 to Ostra Mare.
In Germany Christian Theoharous was absent in Borussia Mönchengladbach II''s 0-0 draw with Wattenchsied 09. Joshua Laws was absent in Fortuna Dussseldorf II''s 2-0 win over Lippstadt. George Timotheou played a full 90 minutes for Schalke U23 in their 3-1 victory over Rot Weiss Essen. Julian Scwarzer was an unused sub for Pipinsried 09 as they lost 2-1 to VfB Eichstatt.
George Timotheou later in the week made his first team debut for FC Schalke 04 in a 2-1 friendly loss to Zenit St.Petersburg.
In the Netherlands Daniel Bouman played a full match as FC Gronigen Jong lost 2-1 to Lisse. Daniel Baggio was absent from Sparta Rotterdam U19s squad that defeated Lienden 7-1. Thomas Prinsen was absent from Jong Almere City's squad that lost 2-0 to Ijsselmeervogels. Sebastian Pasquali was back in action from international duty and scored in a friendly for Jong Ajax in a their 3-0 win over Jong Heerenveen.
In Portugal Duantae Mariner was on the bench for Vizela U19''s 3-1 win over Melinense. Gavin De Niese played a full match in Gafanha's 3-3 draw with Madeira.
In Switzerland Liam Chipperfield scored a penalty in FC Basel U15's 3-1 loss to BSC Young Boys U15.

Earlier in the week Antonis Martis played a full game for FC Midtjylland U19s in their 2-1 win over Brondby U19s in Denmark. His side sit top of the table after the victory.
UK
In English League One action Ryan McGowan played a full game for Bradford City in their 1-1 draw with Peterborough United. Brad Inman played 69 minutes and was on the scoresheet for Rochdale City as they lost 3-2 to Shrewsbury Town. Cameron Burgess was an 85th minute substitute for Scunthorpe United in their 2-1 win over Bristol Rovers.
In English League Two action Jordan Lyden played a full match and scored a long range thunderbolt for Oldham Athletic in their 3-1 win over Cambridge United.
We had a debut in between the sticks for Charlton Athletic as Ashley Maynard-Brewer played a full match in a 1-0 loss to Swansea U21 in the Football league Trophy.
In the English Youth Leagues Kai Caldebrank Park was in goal for the full 90 as Burnley U18 beat Crewe Alexandra U18 6-1. Liam Driscoll joined the action in the second half while Joel Rollinson was an unused sub for Reading U23 in their 3-0 win over Birmingham City U23. Cameron McGilp started and played 70 minutes in that match for Birmingham also.
Over to Scotland where another Aussie was on the score sheet in Lyndon Dykes. The centre-forward scored for Queen of the South in their 3-3 draw against Inverness in the Scottish Championship. Jack Iredale played 90 minutes for Morton in a 0-0 draw against Ayr.
ASIA
In J-League 2 action former Melbourne Victory full-back Jason Geria started and played a full game for JEF United Chiba in their 0-0 draw with Tochigi SC. JEF currently sit in 14th spot in the J-League 2 table.
