In Premier League action, Socceroos midfielder Aaron Mooy stole the show scoring both of Huddersfield Town's goals in a 2-0 win over Wolves. Six minutes in, Mooy calmly dispatched a side footed shot from just outside the box and in the second half scored a sneaky free kick just inside the near post.

Goalkeeper Mat Ryan couldn't stop Jamie Vardy's penalty as Brighton and Hove Albion drew 1-1 at home to Leicester City. Brighton sit in 12th place after breaking a two-game losing streak.
In the English Championship, it was a frustrating evening for Socceroo midfielder Jackson Irvine who was substituted with four minutes remaining with a yellow card as Hull City lost 2-0 at home to Nottingham Forest.
Mass Luongo played a full match while Adam Federici was an unused sub for Stoke City as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw.
Bailey Wright has returned from injury but will have to wait another week before he has a chance to play for Bristol City. His side lost 2-0 to Leeds United away from home.
Former Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak was absent from Aston Villa's enormous derby victory against Birmingham City as Villa defeated their fierce rivals 4-2.
Ryan Williams started and played 87 minutes for Rotherham united as they drew 2-2 with Sheffield United. James Meredith started and played 77 minutes as Millwall drew 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers.
In the English League One, Ryan McGowan was dropped to the bench and was an 88th minute substitute as Bradford City beat Oxford United 2-0. Fringe Socceroo Kenny Dougall is still recovering from injury and was absent as Barnsley drew 1-1 with Doncaster Rovers.
Brad Inman started and played 53 minutes for Rochdale FC as they beat Accrington Stanley 1-0. Cameron Burgess played a full match for Scunthorpe United as they lost 2-1 to Portsmouth.
In the English League Two, Jordan Lyden played 87 minutes for Oldham Athletic as they drew 1-1 with Tranmere.

In Germany, Mat Leckie was back on the scoresheet as the Socceroos livewire scored his first goal of the Bundesliga season in his first start for Hertha Berlin as they came back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Hoffenheim. It was Leckie's seventh goal for the Berlin club.

Robbie Kruse is nursing a minor injury and was absent as Vfl Bochum beat Ergebirge Aue 2-1. Kwame Yeboah played five minutes off the bench for Fortuna Koln in their 0-0 draw with Wurzburger Kickers.

In Denmark, Antonis Martis was an unused sub as FC Midtjylland U19 smashed Lyngby BK U19 6-0. Brent McGrath was an unused sub for Esbjerg FC in their 1-1 draw with Vendsyssel. Fresh from his Socceroos starting debut, Awer Mabil started and played 66 minutes for FC Midtjylland in their unfortunate 2-1 loss away to Kobenhavn.
In Croatia, Fran Karacic captained NK Lokomotic Zagreb to a 2-2 draw with Osijek. Anthony Kalik started and played a full game for NK Rudes as they lost 1-0 to Inter Zapresic who were missing Steven Lustica. Before the international break NK Rijeka U19 based Mark Moric scored the winner for his side in a 2-1 win over Uljanik U19.
In Austria, Jimmy Jeggo played nine minutes off the bench in Austria Wien's 2-1 win over Flyeralarm. The Austrian born midfielder earned his first cap for the Socceroos against Lebanon and became Socceroo No. 601.
James Holland was LASK's hero overnight after scoring the only goal in his side's 1-0 victory away to Rapid Wien. Caleb Mikulic was absent from Young Violets squad as they beat Vorwarts 4-2.
In Belgium, Danny Vukovic was in goal as KRC Genk lost 2-1 to Cercle Brugge. Vukovic has started his ninth match in a row and his side are four points clear of Club Brugge in the league.
In Switzerland, Tomi Juric was an 89th minute substitute as FC Luzern drew 1-1 to FC Basel. Juric was rumoured to move to FC Basel at the beginning of the season but an injury scuppered his lucrative deal. Juric is yet to score in the league for FC Luzern.
In Cyrpus, Apostolos Giannou played 13 minutes off the bench as AEK Larnaca lost 1-0 to APOEL Nicosia. The striker is yet to score in the Cypriot League. Bai Antoniou played nine minutes off the bench for Alki Oroklini in their 3-0 loss to Apollon Limassol.
In Italy, Reno Piscopo scored the winner for AC Renate in their 1-0 victory over Gubbio.
Gabriel Cleur was an unused sub as Virtus Entella lost 1-0 to Robur Siena. Earlier in the week Cleur started and played 61 minutes for Entella in a 3-2 win over Olbia for whom Nicholas Pennington also started and played 66 minutes.
Giancarlo Galifuoco played a full match as Rieti FC lost 3-1 to Juve Stabia. Daniel Alessi played a full match as Sasso Marconi drew 1-1 away from home to Calvina.

Andrew Nabbout got a healthy 25 minute chunk of the second half off the bench for Urawa Red Diamonds as they lost 2-1 to Shonan Bellmare. Mitch Langerak didn't keep a clean sheet but his Nagoya Grampus ran out 2-1 winners over Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
In Korea, Kwabena Appiah-Kubi played 22 minutes off the bench for Incheon United in their 1-0 victory over FC Seoul. James Donachie played a full match as Jeonnam Dragons lost 2-1 to Daegu FC.
Dylan McGowan started and played 64 minutes for Gangwon FC as they defeated Sangju Sangmu 1-0 away from home. Aleksander Jovanovic kept a clean sheet as Jeju United recorded a 1-0 victory over Ulsan Hyundai. Connor Chapman was absent from Pohang Steelers squad that drew 1-1 with Jeonbuk Hyundai.
