In the English Championship play-off Mile Jedinak's expertise at the penalty spot were needed as he was a 120th minute substitute for Aston Villa in their second leg against West Brom. Jedinak dispatched his penalty in style as Villa progressed to the final against Derby County.

In the League Two play-off Gethin Jones played 120 minutes for Mansfield Town and was substituted off after the match against Newport County went to penalties. Newport knocked off Mansfield 5-3.
In the Scottish Championship Lyndon Dykes's Queen of the South were locked in a relegation play-off fight with Raith Rovers. Dykes in the first leg fired twice for South as they defeated Raith 3-1 and drew 0-0 in the return leg keeping them in the Scottish second tier for another season.
EUROPE
In the Bundesliga George Timotheou started and played a full match whilst keeping a clean sheet for FC Schalke against Stuttgart.

Mat Leckie was absent from Hertha Berlin's squad that lost 5-1 on the last day to Bayer Leverkusen. Brandon Borrello played a full game for Freiburg II in their 3-1 win over FSV Frankfurt.
In Denmark Awer Mabil was king of the hill for FC Midtjylland coming on in the 106th and scoring in the shootout as his side won the Danish Cup. Mustafa Amini played a full game for AGF as they lost 2-1 to Randers in the first leg of their Europa League play-off.

In Holland Trent Sainsbury made an 89th minute cameo to finish off the season while Aziz Behich was unused for PSV in their 3-1 win over Heracles Almelo. Alex Gersbach was an unused sub for NAC Breda as they lost 2-1 to Heerenveen. Dean Bouzanis and Denis Genreau were unused substitutes for PEC Zwolle in their 4-2 loss to VVV-Venlo.
Danny Vukovic's KRC Genk finished on top as his side lifted the Belgian title this week with Vukovic playing a full game. The former Sydney FC goalkeeper played over 50 matches this season.

In Croatia Steven Lustica was an unused sub for Inter Zapresic in their 3-2 loss to Dinamo Zagreb. Fran Karacic was absent for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb in their 1-0 loss to NK Rijeka.
In Austria James Holland scores his side's only goal in a 1-0 win for LASK Linz against St Polten to keep LASK in second. Jimmy Jeggo started and was sent off after an hour for Austria Wien as they defeated Wolfsberg 2-0.
In Sweden Tom Glover was an unused sub for Helsingborg in their AFC Eskilstuna.
In Finland Dylan Murnane played a full match for IFK Mariehamn as they progressed to the Suomen Cup FInal after a 3-1 win over VPS.

In Japan Andrew Nabbout scored his first goal for Urawa Red Diamonds in their 3-2 loss to Shonan Bellmare. Nabbout was subbed off due to an injury in the 40th minute.

Mitchell Langerak played a full game in goal for Nagoya Grampus as they drew 1-1 with Kawasaki Frontale. The draw keeps Nagoya in second spot, six points behind FC Tokyo. Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F Marinos smashed Vissel Kobe 4-1 sending Yokohama into fourth spot in the J-League.
In Korea Adam Taggart was absent from Suwon Bluewings squad that lost 3-1 at home to Ulsan Hyundai. Bernie Ibini was a 75th minute substitute for Jeonbuk Hyundai as they defeated Jeju United 3-1 for whom Aleksander Jovanovic played a full match.
In Saudi Arabia Brad Jones's Al Nassr has taken out the Saudi Pro League title on the last day pipping Milos Degenek's Al Hilal by one point. Jones played a full game in a 2-1 win over Al Batin. Degenek played a full game as Al Hilal defeated Al Shabab 3-2.
