Aussies Abroad is back for the 2019/20 season! With the European leagues set to kick off in a weeks time our boys overseas are oiling up the engines for the last time before they hit the big dance.
EUROPE
In Belgium Socceroos goalkeeper Danny Vukovic is back in action in the Belgian Pro League. Vukovic played a full match in a 2-1 victory over Kortijk. George Timotheou was an unused sub for Zulte Waragrem in their 2-0 loss at home to Mechelen.
In Germany Mathew Leckie played the first half for Hertha Berlin in a 2-1 friendly win over Fenerbache.
New Wolfsburg recruit John Iredale got on the scoresheet for his new side and played 68 minutes in a 2-1 friendly win over Weiche FL.

Jacob Italiano has been impressing in pre-season for Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 17-year old played 18 minutes off the bench against Angers SCO and 45 minutes against Rayo Vallecano. Last week he scored in a friendly against Basaksehir.
Brandon Borrello scored a hat-trick in SC Freiburg's 9-1 friendly thrashing over Kaysierispor. The 24-year old made his Socceroos debut last month against South Korea.

In Croatia Fran Karacic played a full match for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb as they went down 1-0 to NK Rijeka. Anthony Kalik played 3 minutes off the bench for Hajduk Split in their 3-0 win over Varazdin.
In Cyprus Apostolos Giannou scored his sides first goal in a 3-0 win over Levski Sofia in the Europea League qualifying round.
In Denmark Awer Mabil was on the bench for FC Midtjylland while Mustafa Amini played a full match and new recruit Zach Duncan watched from the sideline as AGF went down 1-0 to Mabil's side.
In Austria James Holland started and played 82 minutes for LASK Linz in their 2-0 victory over Altach. James Jeggo played just over an hour for Austria Wien in their 3-1 loss to WSG Wattens.
UK
Socceroos keeper Mat Ryan kept a clean sheet for Brighton and Hove Albion in their 4-0 pre-season win over Birmingham City.

Aaron Mooy played the second half of Huddersfield Town's 1-1 draw with Montpellier in their club friendly.
Jackson Irvine played a full game and scored for Hull City in a 2-2 draw with Doncaster Rovers. Callum Elder was an unused substitute for Leicester City in their 2-1 win over Stoke City.
Bailey Wright was absent from Bristol City's squad that lost 5-0 to Crystal Palace. Tyrese Francois was an unused sub for Fulham FC in their 1-0 loss to West Ham United.
Harry Souttar, back at Fleetwood Town, assisted a goal in their 1-0 win over Preston North End. James Meredith was absent from Millwall's 3-3 encounter with Real Sociedad.

In Scotland Tom Rogic was still absent injured from Cetlic FC's squad that smashed Nomme Kalju 5-0 in UEFA Champions League qualifying. Daniel Arzani was also absent.
Oliver Bozanic came on in the 68th minute and missed his penalty in the shoot-out as Hearts were knocked out of the Scottish League Cup by East Fife. Martin Boyle came on in the 68th minute for Hibernian in their 2-0 pre-season win over Elgin City FC.
ASIA
In Japan Ange Postecoglou's Yokohama F Marinos welcomed Premier League winners Manchester City. His side went down 3-1 but received plenty of praise from the coaching mastermind.

In Korea Adam Taggart was talk of the town as he scored a fantastic goal in a 3-1 win for the K-League All Stars against Juventus.

In the Singaporean Premier League Blake Ricciuto played a full game in a Brunei DPMM's 1-0 loss to Home United for whom Oliver Puflett was on the bench.
NORTH AMERICA
In the MLS Brad Smith started but was substituted after 31 minutes as his side Seattle Sounders defeated Houston Dynamo 1-0.
Andy Rose was an unused substitute for Vancouver Whitecaps in their 0-0 draw with Minnesota United.
Antonee Burke-Gliroy played a full game while Jesse Daley played until the 81st minute for Tacoma Defiance in their 2-0 loss to OKC Energy.
