The Socceroos are set to be one of the best supported teams in Russia, as Aussies snap up more tickets than the likes of England, France and Argentina in the latest figures.
With only 100 days to go until the 2018 World Cup, Australians are clearly feeling the excitement.
Over 19,000 tickets have been bought by Australians - approximately 3,800 tickets for the match against France, 3,900 against Denmark and 4,600 against Peru - ranking Australia eighth globally for the last ticket sales period.
Close to 5,000 Aussies will be in Russia for the World Cup making us the 10th most supported country. Around 2,000 Aussies have booked onto the 15 most popular organised tours so 3,000 are travelling around independently, sponsors, family/partners/friends of players, journos, FFA

Peruvian fans - who also endured intercontinental qualifiers - also ranked highly on the list with almost 22,000 tickets sold.
Although still ranked highly by international standards, the 2018 ticket sales result for Australia is still a substantial drop from the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where over 53,000 tickets were bought by Australians.
