Ange Postecoglou says he'll enjoy the moment before announcing his coaching future after masterminding the Socceroos' fourth consecutive World Cup qualification on Wednesday night.
A Mile Jedinak hat-trick inspired Australia to a 3-1 win in the second leg of the intercontinental clash against Honduras in front of a crowd of almost 80,000 delighted and emotional fans at ANZ Stadium.
During the tense home and away playoff against the Central Americans, speculation surrounding Postecoglou's coaching plans momentarily took a back seat.
But even after Australia secured passage to next year's World Cup in Russia, the Socceroos boss wasn't giving away any clues about his next step.

“It won’t take too long but I’m going to make sure I enjoy this first," he said speaking post-match
"I’ll sit down with the powers that be. Obviously, it’s important as the planning goes ahead, and the draw is not too far away and there are all sorts of things to do."
Postecoglou's tactics, relationship with the media and rumours that he leaving his job before the World Cup have seen critcs take aim at the 52-year-old over the past few months.
But the Asian Cup winner denied he was a man under siege.
“Probably the thing I haven’t done well is show the amount of support I have had,” he said.
“For the most part I’ve had a hell of a lot encouragement from just the general public and a lot of people in the game - they just don’t hold a microphone.
“This has been the greatest honour of my life. There have been fantastic advantages when you coach your own country and if you are not successful there is nowhere to hide. I’ve still got to live here. If I was a foreigner I’d pack my bags and go home.
“This group of players have done it all and it’s been a remarkable four years and within that it’s not just the result it’s the way we’ve gone about it.
“When I saw them go for the second goal then the third goal, it’s exactly the way I want my teams to play.
“Moving forward it is exactly what people are going to stand up and take notice of.”
While Australia begins planning for Russia, Chile, Holland and Italy will not be there and Postecoglou said it underlined the magnitude of the Socceroos' qualification feat.
“It’s a fantastic achievement and we shouldn’t take it for granted," he said.
“We should appreciate that come June next year there will be some very strong footballing loving nations who will be watching us while they are on their holidays.
“I definitely think in world football it’s all changed. The traditional path to a World Cup where you just know that certain teams are going to be there just doesn’t exist anymore.
"Everything is evened up around the world and that includes us in this region.”
