The world game is one that should be enjoyed everyone across the globe, so as David Oswell preps for a journey to an orphanage in Ghana to do some voluntary football coaching, there will be a charity match between "Australia" and "England" taking place this Sunday (13 September) to raise funds for football equipment for the kids.

Australia will be led by former Socceroos captain Paul Wade [picture not current!], while former Manchester City, Leicester and Norwich defender Spencer Prior will lead out the English. There will also be some incredibly unfit members of the FourFourTwo team attempting to keep up.

Everyone is welcome to come down and there'll be a BBQ, games and prizes for the kids at half-time with a raffle and auction after the game with prizes including a first edition front cover of FourFourTwo signed by cover stars Les Murray, Brett Emerton and David Carney. There is also a signed Liverpool shirt by some fellas called Gerrard and Torres.

If that's not enough for you there is also a signed Roosters shirt, a Wii, Sony Ericsson phone, jewellery, food hampers, wine, plus David Jones and Rebel Sport gift vouchers.

A target of $5,000 has been set to buy 30 kids some boots, ball and shinpads each. Show your support by marveling at Wade and Prior and laughing at the FourFourTwo "players" by coming down and seeing us Sunday. Entry is only $3 or $2 if you wear your national team colours.

The game will take place at David Phillips, cnr Banks Rd and Gwea Ave in Daceyville, Sydney on Sunday 13th September. Kick-off is 1pm. See you there!
