THE Socceroos will play a friendly against Holland in either Sydney or Melbourne on Saturday October 10.
Saudi Arabia, Iran and India were also mooted as possible friendly opponents for the Dutch before the KNVB and Australian FA reached an agreement about the meeting.
The KNVB are also talking with their Uruguayan counterparts about the possibility of a friendly in November.
Last September, Australia inflicted upon Holland its first and so far only defeat of the Bert van Marwijk era - 2-1 in Eindhoven.
The Oranje will leave Holland on October 6 and return six days later.
