HARRY Redknapp and Jermain Defoe have been rewarded for their roles in Tottenham's outstanding start to the season with the Barclays manager and player of the month awards for August.
Spurs won all four of their Premier League matches in August, with Defoe scoring a hat-trick at Hull and also on target against West Ham.
