PALERMO coach Davide Ballardini has signed a contract extension which will keep him at the Sicilian club until June 2011.
Ballardini had penned a one-year deal when he took over the Serie A outfit following the dismissal of coach Stefano Colantuono just one match into the season.
However, good results have seen Ballardini rewarded further.
The islanders have shown great form under their new coach, taking 12 points from their last five matches.
Palermo are fourth in the standings, one point behind joint leaders Lazio, Udinese and Internazionale.
