INTER Milan striker Mario Balotelli has finally put pen to paper on a new deal, tying him to the Italian champions for the next three years.
The 17-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in the world, has come through the ranks at Inter and burst on to the senior stage in the second half of last season.
On his Coppa Italia debut Balotelli scored twice against Reggina, and he bagged another brace of goals in the quarter-final second leg against Juventus.
A statement on Inter's official website read: "FC Internazionale announces that Mario Balotelli, 18 years old on August 12, has tied himself to the club until June 30, 2011."
Balotelli had threatened to leave if Inter did not significantly better his 60,000 euros annual salary and guarantee him a first-team place next season.
