Barcelona have released Sylvinho, the club confirmed today.
The left-back played 30 games for Barca during their treble-winning season, but the Catalan side have decided not to renew his contract which ends on June 30.
Sylvinho's penultimate game for the club was their Champions League final victory over Manchester United, the 35-year-old's second success in that competition with Barca.
The former Arsenal defender has also won three Primera Division titles, a Copa del Rey and two Spanish Supercups during his five-year spell at the Nou Camp.
Sylvinho, who played 128 times for Barcelona and scored three goals, will hold a press conference later this month.
