Primera Liga leaders Barca, whose last cup triumph came in 1998, will play the first match of the two-legged semi-final against Getafe at the Nou Camp.

That tie pits Getafe coach Bernd Schuster against one of his former clubs, while there is a similar story in the other semi-final with Depor coach Joaquin Caparros meeting his old side Sevilla.

Caparros was in charge at Sevilla for five seasons until taking over at Depor in 2005.

Depor, who reached last year's semi-finals before losing to eventual winners Espanyol, host the first match at the Riazor before travelling to Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium for the second leg.

The first legs will be played on April 18 with the return matches taking place on May 9.

Sevilla's sporting director Ramon Rodriguez 'Monchi' was pleased with his side's draw, partly because they avoided reigning Spanish champions Barca.

"I am happy that the second match will be at home. At our ground we are going to have the help of our fans and we will notice that as much as our opponents will," he said on his club's website.

"With regards to Barca, they are an equal opponent to us and for this reason we are not unhappy (not to have drawn them)."

Monchi is not taking it for granted his club will get past Depor however, even though Sevilla trounced the Galician side 4-0 in the league just before Christmas.

"It is not going to be easy. They have improved a lot and they will not look the same as they did when we played them," he added.

"They have recovered some important players such as (Jorge) Andrade and (Javier) Arizmendi. As well as that, (Joaquin) Caparros has instilled a more competitive streak into his side and now they know what they want and they are more aggressive."

Getafe president Angel Torres said of his side's draw: "The only thing that we wanted was for the first game to be away.

"Barcelona will be more focused on the league and cup now they are out of the Champions League, and they have a great team, but we have high hopes and we will see what happens."
